See It…Hear It…Report It

Your police department wants your involvement!  You- the people we serve- are the eyes and ears of the community, and we know you see things when we can’t be everywhere at once.  So, we’ve provided below some brief case synopses and want to know if you have any information on the following. It could help us solve a case.  If you do have some info to provide, click on the link under the specific case and fill in the blanks.  You’ll be helping us in so many ways if you… See It… Hear It… Report It.

116 Piquot Dr.- This resident owns a red Yamaha Silverado motorcycle.  He went away for a weekend and, when he returned, he discovered that someone had helped themselves to his bike.  There are 2 black leather saddle bags near the seat and the attached North Carolina plate is as follows: 3T7184.  If you happen to see a motorcycle matching this description or you have an idea who may have done this, don’t hesitate to let us know.

Horseman Dr./Shawnee Dr. CLOSED- Someone has recentyl embarked upon a mission of B&Es in the area.  At 179 Horseman Dr., someone crawled through a broken window and helped themselves to several pieces of jewelry.  Not long after that, someone kicked in the front door at 134 Horseman Dr. and stole electronics and firearms.  And, a couple of days later, someone tried to break into 542 Shawnee Dr. by kicking in the front door.  Fortunately, this door was strong enough to keep them from gaining entry, and they couldn’t steal anything.  Evidence suggests that the crimes at these locations were perpetrated by the same suspect(s).  And, what’s disturbing is that at least 2 of them were completed in broad daylight.  If you have any information about these incidents, please provide what you know via the link below and help us put these vagrants behind bars.  CLOSED

100 Big Horn Dr.-  Somebody decided to make off with a golf cart from this address.  It’s a 2001 Yamaha and has last year’s POA sticker (number 3441) on the windshield.  It is green with tan seats and has an extended top.  If you have any idea who may have taken this unsuspecting victim’s golf cart, help us by clicking on the link below.

100 Taopi Dr.-  Someone came back to this house for more.  In January of this year, an unknown suspect removed a table and chairs from the screened-in deck at the rear of the home.  Unfortunately, somebody broke into the home again and we’re not sure if it was the same person.  This time, a rear door was kicked in and the new house’s major appliances- the stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher- were removed.  Anyone with information is encouraged to let us know via the link below.

Case 1:  413 Sagamore Dr.

On Friday, January 9, 2009, the homeowner came home to discover that his front door had been kicked in.  He hadn’t been gone from the house long, so it almost looked like someone was just waiting for him to leave.  The suspect was bold because this break-in occurred during daylight hours.  If you happened to notice anything out of the ordinary in this area around this date, please click the link below and let us know.

Case 2:  100 Taopi Dr.

On Sunday, January 11, 2009, Royale Realty discovered that some items had been stolen from a brand new home that is currently for sale.  It appears that someone entered through the screened-in deck and removed a table and 2 chairs.  This thief stayed long enough to remove these items, but did not venture to steal anything from the home’s living area.  If you’ve seen or heard anything recently that might aid in case’s closure, click the following link and let us know.

Case 3:  774 Sagamore Dr.

On Friday, January 16, 2009, the homeowner reported that someone had entered this house through a rear window.  They exited through a back door with a television they didn’t buy.  A witness has informed us that they saw a dark colored pick-up with two men inside leaving this area with a TV matching the description in the bed of the truck about 2-3 weeks before the incident was officially reported.  If you recall the same incident with a little more detail, please click the link below and let us know.

Case 4:  1025 Sagamore Dr.

On Sunday, November 16, 2008, the homeowner discovered that many of the outdoor tools and appliances she stored in her shed were no longer there.  The shed was not completely hidden from the street, so anyone could have driven by and seen someone on the property that wasn’t necessarily supposed to be there.  And, if anyone happened to see a truck or van loaded with a bunch of yard/outdoor items that don’t quite go together (like a chainsaw and a child’s swing in the same truck, or a leaf blower and a lantern in the same van- just examples), you just might have seen the suspect.  If you think you can help, click on the link and shoot us some info.

Case 5:  170 Osage Dr.

On Friday, October 10, 2008, the homeowner discovered that his golf cart had been removed from his front yard.  The red 1999 Club Car with a lift kit, 4-wheeler tires, and Chevelle SuperSport hubcaps was registered with the POA, but has yet to be located.  A witness vaguely recalled seeing a dump truck stop by this residence about 2-3 days before the incident was reported.  After that truck idled near the home for just a few minutes, the driver spun tires in an attempt to vacate the area with a swiftness.  If you can offer any more details about that truck, or any other suspicious activity in that area around that time, please let us know by clicking the link below.
